First China Trademark
Festival to be Held in Shenzhen at the end of this year
On the afternoon of August 21, deputy director of State
Administration for Industry and Commerce, Li Dongsheng, announced that the
first China Trademark Festival sponsored by the Chinese Trademark
Association, Shenzhen People¡¯s Government, joined by Boao Asian Forum
will be held from December 9 to 12, 2005 in Shenzhen. It is said that this
festival would be the biggest international fair held by Chinese trademark
circle up to now. It is known that exhibitions of trademarks at home and abroad
will be held during the festival, with full use of the Shenzhen Convention
and Exhibition Center which covers an area of 100,000 square meters.
Through many kinds of means of transmission, the festival will exhibit and
introduce completely, lively and fully the trademarks of Chinese and
foreign enterprises. The exhibition has also arranged exhibition zones
like the Chinese Trademark¡¯s Development and Achievements, Trademark
Services, Famous Trademarks, Trademark Exhibition, Trademarks abroad and
from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, etc., which shows the confidence of Chinese
government and administrations at all levels for industry and commerce to
strike trademark infringement, and provides the best platform for
participants to communicate, exchange experience and information, and
spread brands and cooperate. During the exhibition, there will also be
activities, such as the Chinese and Foreign Trademark Agencies Development
Forum, Chinese and Foreign Trademark Right Preservation Forum, Trademark
