Linda LIU has original view and made deep study on IP, especially conducted detailed comparative research on Japanese and Chinese IP, and published many theses in this filed. During the period from January, 2002 to June, 2003, she published 23 theses in the authoritative Japanese periodicals or magazines (see STUDIES). The contents of these articles cover patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, copyright, conflict between different intellectual properties, service invention. For example, Schedule of Comparison between the Japanese Patent Law and its Chinese Counterpart, which was published in November 2002, in No.2 of IP Prism, sponsored by the Japanese Economy Investigation Committee; Schedule of Comparison between the Japanese trademark Law and its Chinese counterpart, which was published in May 2003 in the same above magazine, and Changes and Prospects of Intellectual Property System After China's Entry Into the WTO, published in Patent Research, NO.34, October 2002.

The working staff of the firm also actively write and publish articles or theses, making academic research besides dealing with the patent prosecution.
