ZHANG Yuning, Deputy Secretary-General, Visited Linda Liu & Partners and Beijing Wei Chixue Law Firm
On April 11, 2024, ZHANG Yuning, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Trademark Association, visited Linda Liu & Partners and Wei Chixue Law Firm, members of the association. He had a discussion and exchange with WEI Chixue, founding partner of Linda Liu & Partners, XIAO Hui, Manager of Trademark Department, and ZHANG Fenfang, Manager of Business Development Department.
WEI Chixue expressed welcome and gratitude for ZHANG Yuning’s visit. As a senior expert in the industry, he introduced the firm’s development history and business development while putting forward suggestions for the healthy development of the trademark agency industry. Linda Liu & Partners and Wei Chixue Law Firm joined the China Trademark Association in 2008 and 2021 respectively, and have actively participated in events organized by the association in recent years, such as the research group on the forefront of trademark law issues and the forum of the Annual Meeting of China International Trademark Brand Festival.
ZHANG Yuning thanked Linda Liu & Partners and Wei Chixue Law Firm for their active participation and support in the association’s work. He introduced that as a national professional association in the field of trademarks and an organization of trademark agency industry, the association has made efforts in strengthening industry self-discipline construction in recent years, including organizing business training and examination for trademark agents, carrying out the licensing of trademark agency quality service certification trademark, launching a trademark talent pool, publishing the ”Top 600 Chinese Trademark Agencies” list, etc. Linda Liu & Partners was also selected as a 5A-level trademark agency in the “Top 600 Chinese Trademark Agencies” list, and ZHANG Yuning congratulated on this. In terms of serving the trademark brand construction project and cultivating well-known Chinese trademark brands, the association has established a well-known trademark brand working committee, issued the “Evaluation Specification for Well-known Trademark Brands”, and explored the establishment of a well-known trademark brand evaluation system with Chinese characteristics. Currently, 23 brands such as Haier, China Telecom, and Yuan Qi Forest have passed the AAA-level well-known trademark brand evaluation. ZHANG Yuning expressed that he welcomes Linda Liu & Partners and Wei Chixue Law Firm to participate in evaluation consulting and counseling work to expand the scope of intellectual property service business.
ZHANG Yuning also invited Linda Liu & Partners and Wei Chixue Law Firm to participate in the 14th China International Trademark Brand Festival and suggested that they leverage their own advantages to participate more in international exchange activities organized by the association, thus contributing to promoting communication and cooperation between Chinese and foreign trademark brands.
