Notice of Seeking Opinions for the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China(Draft of Revision for Approval)

With more than two decades of development since 1993, the year when the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China (herein after referred to as “the Anti-Unfair Competition Law”) took effect, the degree of marketization of Chinese economy improved significantly, and extensive and profound changes have taken place in the aggregate economic volume, market size, and intensity and status of market competition of China. In order to realize the objectives of the Party Central Committee and the State Council of giving play to the decisive role of the market in resource allocation, establishing fair, open and transparent market rules and constructing a unified and open market system with orderly competition, safeguard the market order with fair competition, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, the State Administration of Industry and Commerce of China (SAIC) incorporated opinions of all sides, revised the existing Anti-unfair Competition Law, drafted the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China (Draft of Revision for Approval) (hereinafter referred to as “the Draft for Approval”) and submitted it to the State Council for approval. To fully understand opinions and advice from all sectors of society and improve the quality of legislation, the Draft for Approval is hereby released for seeking opinions from all sectors of society. Should you have any opinion for revision, please forward to us through the following ways before March 25, 2016:
